Two major infrastructure decisions were made at Lake Macquarie Council last night, with councillors awarding a $25.8-million contract to Daracon for stage one of the Glendale Transport Interchange.
Site work will commence in late June.
The council also agreed to place the Charlestown Contributions Plan on public exhibition.
It includes $92-million worth of facilities to meet the needs of residents across 21 suburbs over the next 10 years.
