Two teenage boys have been charged, over a robbery at the University of Newcastle.
Two international students were allegedly threatened with a 30-centimetre samurai sword by two people in the train station carpark, at around 8:30pm.
The students – aged 21 and 23 – handed over some cash and their mobile phones.
Police arrested two teenagers a short time later, at Mayfield West.
