Assets belonging to notorious Gold Coast drug baron Charlie Cannon have been sold off.
He amassed a drug-funded lifestyle worth $27 million.
But today two prestige catamarans went under the hammer.
His prized Goldfinger went for 256 thousand dollars.. the other yacht, Inspiration went for 303 thousand.
They’ve been under lock and key ever since Cannon was arrested in 2003 and later jailed for drug trafficking.
He’s been using Legal Aid to fight the confiscation orders… he’s taken it all the way the High Court.
It’s been the longest running criminal confiscation case in Queensland.
