A house has been destroyed by fire at Kempsey this morning.
Fire crews were called to the Regent Street property at around 8.30am and found the weatherboard home well alight.
Fire fighters evacuated neighbours, including a family with three children, and say it was lucky the blaze didn’t spread.
The home is owned by two young brothers and is believed to be uninsured.
Authorities are still working to determine how the fire started.
