Work to clean up chemical contamination at the Coffs Harbour slipway is on-hold pending approval from the Environment Protection Authority.
The slipway has been closed since 2014 after the former operator’s lease expired, and remediation was ordered to address concerns about Tributyltin contamination.
A plan for the slipway has been drawn up but it requires EPA approval before work can start.
Crown Lands had previously said work on the slipway would be finished by mid-2015.
