A nasty crash during the Australian Offshore Superboats in Newcastle this afternoon, left one man in hospital.
New Zealand boat, Global Racing, barrel-rolled during the final lap of race two.
One driver was taken to hospital, while the other managed to escape unscathed.
The powerboat was badly damaged.
