COFFS SHOW LOOKING TO DO BETTER
Coffs Harbour’s centenary show recorded a $20,000 loss last year,
but organisers are hoping this weekend, they can turn it around with more trade exhibits and sponsorships.
New treasurer Peter Grimmond is confident this year’s show will return a profit.
“Financially we’ve had some strife but we’ve gone about business totally different this year. We’ve rejigged the whole thing and I think we’re going to cure the little problem we’re having and I think the show now has a bright future,” Mr Grimmond said.
Joining the show and shine cars this year, a new attraction called Ultimate Boys Toys, featuring even flasher cars and motorbikes.
