Tenders have been called for the extension of the Marina Boardwalk in Coffs Harbour.
It will be lengthened by 114 metres and improve public access to Mutton Bird Island and other parts of the inner harbour.
Construction of the additional section of walkway will take about four months to complete.
Companies interested in working on the $500,000 project have until May 21 to apply.
