A Gympie man will face court to answer charges of the alleged sexual assault of a girl over 15 years ago.
Police accuse the 47-year-old of assaulting the girl in the Waterford West, Pimpama, Ormeau, Beerburrum and Caboolture areas between 1997 and 2002.
He has been charged with five counts of rape, two counts of attempted rape, and 15 counts of indecent treatment of a child.
It’s believed the girl is known to the man.
He will appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court next month.
