The Australian Wildlife Rescue Association has been inundated with more than 180 Shearwater fledglings.
Each year the young birds migrate to South East Asia, however some have been found on the beach suffering from exhaustion.
Wires is urging anyone who sees a stranded bird to deliver them to one of the designated drop off points across the region, or contact Wires Mid North Coast directly.
