MAN ACCUSED OF BRISBANE MURDER ARRESTED

A man wanted for questioning over the murder of a Brisbane woman has been arrested on the Gold Coast.
A police dog actually brought down Jacob Michael Smith – after he allegedly tried to run from police.
Officers swooped on a house at Gaven around 10-thirty after several tip-offs from neighbours.
Smith was found in the backyard, it’s believed he’d been hiding out in a granny flat.
“I believe that he was trying to avoid detection and he was located by the police dog and as a result he suffered a minor injury from the dog.”
Smith has been wanted for questioning over the death of Anthea Mari, her body was found inside her Norman Park home on Monday.
