Crime is on the downward spiral across the New England North West, according to the latest Bureau of Crime Statistics report.
Offences such as car and residential theft fell over the past two years until September.
However there’s been a sharp rise in the number of thefts from shops in Armidale- up 69 per cent.
While domestic violence incidences also jumped in Glen Innes.
