STORM’S SILVER LINING FOR CENTRAL COAST
A silver lining to the east coast low – it’s had a positive impact on the Central Coast’s dam levels, with total storage now at 67 per cent, a level not reached since 1993.
Volume has increased by more than 14,000 litres since Sunday, and will supply the coast for about six months.
The Mardi to Mangrove dam link has transferred about 558 million litres in the last week, with the amount expected to increase even further once power has been restored.
