This mother’s day is going to be very special for some lucky Coffs Coast mums.
Their kids are spending part of the holidays at the Coffs Harbour Regional Museum making cosmetic gifts – using everyday household ingredients.
Education officer Shirley Johnston Learner says the workshop is a lovely way to create something very personal and truly unique – and best of all, it’s educational.
The kids agree.
“Today I’m making lip-balm and this is an essential oil like a perfume and this one is vanilla flavoured.”
The workshop was over subscribed with 26 children taking part.
