WEATHER: WEEKEND RAIN ON THE WAY
We’re experiencing some very warm temperatures across the region today. When it gets unseasonably warm you can almost guarantee some form a of a change is on the way.
There is a mass of cloud making its way across the country at the moment. That high level cloud will start to steal the sunshine across the Hunter tomorrow.
The cloud cover will spread north across the broadcast region during Saturday. A cold front will then collide with this warm, moist air, producing rain which will start to fall Saturday night. This will make for a wet Sunday for everyone.
Widespread moderate to heavy falls are likely, very similar to Easter Saturday in fact.
An east coast low is expected to form Monday into Tuesday, whipping up another big swell, strong winds and coastal rain.
