LOCALS ON THE ROAD TO COCKATOOS JERSEY

The two men’s New South Wales Country rugby sides were unveiled last night, with Moree’s Josh Walker the only local in the Under 19s.

Jack Arthur is representing the New England in the seniors, and he’s joined by Central North centres, Simon Newton and Pat Keen.

Newton retains his spot from last year, while Keen is in his first season with Walcha, after moving south from Queensland.

Also making the cut – 2016 St Alberts College premiership winner Charlie French – who moved to Forbes after graduating from university.
