POLICE FIND SUITCASE OF CASH IN CAR
A woman will face court next month after police found more than $71,000 in her car near Forster.
At around 11:30 last night, officers pulled over a Toyota Kluger along the Pacific Highway at Nabaic.
The 38-year-old driver from Greenacre, who was travelling with four children in the car, was allegedly doing 128 kilometres per hour in a 100 zone.
Police say they searched the car and found the cash inside a suitcase in the boot, and also discovered that the car hadn’t been registered since December last year.
The woman was charged with goods in custody and will appear before Taree Local Court in May.
