The New South Wales Farmers Association has thrown its support behind the push to reduce daylight saving from six months to four.
The farming body passed a policy in 20-11 at its annual conference, which stated it would like to see it reduced.
MPs Adam Marshall and Kevin Anderson are campaigning to change the time frame, they believe the current length from October to April is unnecessary.
