PARAGLIDERS GROUNDED FOR EASTER

Paragliding’s State of Origin has been cancelled this year, due to poor flying conditions.

After yesterday’s rain, the competition was extended to today to decide a winner.

Safe take off speed is less than 15 kilometres per hour, with Mount Borah recording double that this morning.

Despite the loss of flying time over Easter, international paragliders from France and New Zealand will remain in Manilla for another two weeks.
