SURVEY AND DESIGN WORK UNDERWAY FOR PROPOSED GOONOO GOONOO RD UPGRADE

A proposed upgrade to Goonoo Goonoo Road between Calala Lane and Jack Smyth Drive is one step closer, with planning now underway.

For years, the community has been calling for the single lane road to be duplicated to ease traffic in the busy area.

Survey and design work will be done over the coming months to ensure the stretch of road is “shovel ready”, in case state funding is approved.
