37-YEAR-OLD MOTORCYCLIST DIES IN TRAGIC CRASH

Police are investigating the cause of a crash near Mount Thorley, in the Upper Hunter, which tragically claimed the life of a 37-year-old motorcyclist this morning.
His bike struck the side of a white Holden Commodore at the intersection of the Golden Highway and the Putty Road.
The 65-year-old male driver escaped injury, and was taken to Singleton Base Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
Traffic diversions remained in place until late this afternoon.
