LIBERAL CANDIDATES NOMINATE FOR COUNCIL ELECTION

Two Liberal Party candidates are the latest to throw their hat into the ring, for the upcoming Newcastle City Council election.
24-year-old Taylor Wright is running in Ward 1.
“I’d really like to support Newcastle’s revitalisation and ensure the decisions that we make today will benefit Newcastle for the next 30, 50 years and we don’t look back on that time frame and say we made the wrong decisions today,” he said.
The city’s renewal also a priority for Ward 4 candidate, Hannah Eves.
“I think I can bring a fresh approach. One that works well in a team and is for the future of Newcastle,” she said.
