AIR SPECTACULAR OVER GUNNEDAH
There was a spectacular display of aerial acrobatics in the North West today as planes took to the sky for the Gunnedah air show.
The second day of the event was opened by a model jet-powered F-18, piloted on the ground by Jeff Spark.
The 25 kilogram model aircraft reached a top speed of 200 kilometres per hour.
An L39 Albatross jet defied gravity and made rolls and flips look easy.
While a number of warbird planes showed how soldiers had it in world war two.
