A toddler is recovering in hospital, after he was hit by a bus at Hamilton North this morning.
Emergency services were called to Chattam Road at around 8am.
Paramedics stabilised the boy before he was taken to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition.

It’s not known what caused the accident, but police say the scene will be forensically examined.
