Two Scone horses will be the Hunter-North West’s representatives at next month’s Country Series Championships at Randwick.
Voodoo Lad came into today’s $100,000 Tamworth qualifier as heavy favourite, with three firsts from six starts.
The three-year-old gelding showed why on the home stretch, streaking down the track to win by two lengths.
He’ll be joined in the Country Series final by Tarangower, who finished second.
