Belmont’s Jason Doyle is racing the clock to prepare for his return to the Elite Speedway League, just two days after arriving in the UK.
Doyle dominated the speedway scene here in Australia over summer, while dealing with a frustrating three-month wait for a British working visa.
The 29-year-old is due to ride for the Leicester Lions in the East Midlands Bowl against Coventry this Sunday.
Today he took to Twitter to explain the lengths he’s going to, to be ready for the race – catching a train to Leicester, then driving to Coventry to get his bikes, then heading to four other towns to collect parts.
