After holding an emergency meeting last night, the Tingha Tigers are maintaining hope they’ll field a side in Group 19 rugby league this year.
With only 30 players registered across all grades, the club is concerned for its future.
Only two of last year’s A Grade squad have returned, with captain Guy Mepham signing for rivals Inverell.
They’ll face Ashford in a trial next weekend, before making a final decision on the season.
