While many of us were taking it easy this morning, keen runners were putting in the hard yards in Maitland.
More than 450 people lined up for the International Women’s Day Walk at Walka Water Works.
This year, the event was held alongside Maitland Park Run, promoting a healthy lifestyle as well as gender equality.
“Getting people active each week, having something regular to do to start off the weekend makes a lot of people happy.”
