The Rural Fire Service’s brand new Hunter Valley headquarters at Bulga is nearing completion.
Members have already begun moving equipment into their new $3-million control centre, which will be used as an emergency and training base.
The purpose-built centre is a big step-up from the old demountables the RFS has called home for the past 15 years.
Construction is expected to wrap-up later this month, with the official hand-over set down for May.
