WEATHER: FINAL WEEKEND OF SUMMER LOOKING GOOD

It’s heating up across the Hunter, North West and Mid North Coast tomorrow, with north-westerly to north-easterly winds getting strong on the coast.

The chance of showers for the Northern Rivers and south east Queensland will be small so it will be mostly fine until afternoon storms fire up along the northern New South Wales ranges.

On Sunday, a change will be moving in and this is likely to trigger showers and storms for the Hunter and North West around Tamworth, before spreading further north during the afternoon.

Swell is abating so it will be small for surfers but good for boaties.
