CENTRAL COAST MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER

A 21-year-old Central Coast man has today been charged with murdering a man whose body was found in bushland near Bulahdelah last year.

24-year-old Jacob Munro was reported missing from Schofields in Sydney’s west last July.

His body was discovered by police in a bush grave in the Bulahdelah State Forest in December.

Just after 7am today, detectives attched to Strike Force Zion arrested the man at his Lake Munmorah home and later charged hime with murder.

A 68-year-old man from the New England region has also been charged with being an accessory after the fact.

He’ll face Penrith Local Court next week.
