COUNCIL KICKS AGL OUT OF GLOUCESTER DIALOGUE
Gas giant AGL has been kicked out of a committee, designed to improve communications between the company and the local community.
Gloucester Councillors today voted to exclude the company from the ‘Gloucester Dialogue’, which includes representatives from government agencies, council and the community.
Councillors have also voted to write to the state government to request AGL’s exploration licence in Gloucester be suspended.
It comes after dangerous B-TEX chemicals were found at the AGL site last month.
