The northern New South Wales coast and south east Queensland has had a consistent run of showers, with some heavy localised falls. This shower activity is going to ease across the weekend.
The onshore winds will still be with us, making for more humid days and nights.
The Hunter has seen a few small showers and the occasional storm. It should be predominantly fine across the region this weekend, with the chance of shower development on the small side.
Still warm and dry inland across the North West and Plains.
A moderate swell for surfers – southern corners in the north and northern corners in the south the tip.
Moderate seas and swell for boating.
