A man, believed to be in his 60s or 70s, has been found dead in Lake Macquarie this morning.
Police found the man floating face down near Marmong Point at around 11 o’clock, with a small boat floating nearby.
The circumstances surrounding his death are under investigation, but police don’t believe it’s suspicious.
The man is yet to be formally identified.
