COUNCIL TO FREEZE SOME CHARGES
Coffs Council has announced it will freeze the rate of increase for water and sewer access charges for three years.
Coffs Council says it decided on the freeze due to concerns over affordability after it applied for a two-year Special Rate Variation of almost 16 per cent.
Council says it will ensure any increase in bills during that time is kept to no more than 3.9 per cent for the average ratepayer, the annual rate peg increase set by the State Government.
