A 49-year-old woman has been terrorised in her home at Halekulani.
The woman went outside to check on her dogs at about 1am, when she was confronted by a man.
Police say he pushed her into a lounge chair and tied her hands and feet together.
The man took cash and jewellery before leaving the house.
The woman managed to escape uninjured.
