Hundreds of riders tackled the Awaba track and extreme heat, at the opening round of the East Coast MX Series over the weekend.
The Hunter’s Joel Wightman claimed the Pro Open division, while fellow local Egan Mastin won the Pro Lites.
The series moves to Canberra next month, before returning to the Hunter for a round in Maitland in June and Cessnock in July.
