A demolition contractor from Ballina has been fined $50,000, for illegally dumping waste at a Lismore property.
Council staff caught Barry Curtis dumping 48 tonnes of material, including asbestos, at a private property in May last year.
He was also ordered to pay Lismore Council’s $5000 of legal fees.
