BOY CHARGED AFTER ALLEGEDLY STABBING 12-YEAR-OLD BROTHER

A 15-year-old has been charged after allegedly stabbing his 12-year-old brother at their Coffs Harbour home yesterday.
About 9.30pm the two brothers were in the kitchen when an altercation occurred.
After the fight the older brother has allegedly picked up a nearby knife and stabbed his brother on the left side of his body.
The sibling was taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital for treatment. His injury is not believed to be life threatening.
The older brother was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and armed with intent to committ an indictable offence.
He was refused bail to appear in Coffs Harbour Children’s Court today.
