Management at two tourist attractions on the Coffs Coast say they’re now in a position to push ahead with major expansion projects.
A $650,000 Tourism New South Wales grant will see work start on a new water park at the Big Banana.
Construction of three big flume rides at the 50 year old icon should be complete by September.
The Big Banana’s Michael Lockman said “It gives people an alternative to come to our park in Coffs Harbour rather than going up to the busy theme parks on the Gold Coast.”
The Emerald Beach Holiday Park received $295,000 to build a smaller water attraction near its swimming pool.
