DRIVER IN NAMBUCCA DOUBLE FATAL REMAINS STABLE

A man seriously injured in yesterday’s horror crash that claimed two lives on the Pacific Highway near Nambucca Heads, remains in a stable condition in hospital.
Two women died in the three-vehicle accident, involving a moped, four-wheel-drive and a ute.
The male driver of the four-wheel-drive was airlifted to a Gold Coast hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the ute was taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Police believe one of the drivers was on the wrong side of the double white lines when the smash happened.
