BABY JEREMY JOINS THE HUNTER VALLEY ZOO
The newest addition to Hunter Valley Zoo is sure to melt plenty of hearts.
Jeremy the marmoset monkey, was one of a set of triplets born four weeks ago, but he was abandoned by his parents.
Keeper Daisy Hawkins intervened, and has been caring for him ever since.
“He’s doubled in size since we first got him so he’s doing excellent. He’s starting to climb around in his little cage now, makes lots of little noises.”
Jeremy is the first animal hand-raised at the zoo.
He’ll be introduced into the main enclosure in around 10 to 12 weeks.
