WEATHER REPORT:WEEKEND CHANGE APPROACHING

The next rain band is now taking full shape stretching across the country. Widespread storms and moderate to heavy falls at times are developing especially for Newcastle and surrounds.
The system will make its way across the broadcast region from tonight. Delivering a little bit of everything. Storms, showers, heavy rain periods for some, strong winds and a drop in temperatures. The rain will clear for most by Sunday. It will be cool though with strong southerly winds.
