catch a train to town this Sunday morning for a community get together at pacific park 1030am- wear yellow to show your support for our trains retention. Show your disgust and disbelief that a community owned infrastructure is being taken from the community for the selfish interests of a few. Our town has been in recent years infected with collusion corruption an absent politicians to represent our interests.
the fact that this government is planning to take our inner city transport over the Christmas season is really running salt in the wounds. don’t be fooled there will be no transport improvement. take the ‘truncation; of the Fassifern Toronto line- yep ‘a bus called train’ ran for a few years as part of the train ticket -but looky now- its a now a separate fee to extend that Fassi to Toronto route now. Wake up Newcastle we have had enough of being the Sydney cash cow. Time to protect the things that we love. Our forefathers & Mothers fought hard for these services -these transient Government Ministers have no right to flog them off to private interests.
