FORUM FOCUSES ON FETAL ALCOHOL SPECTRUM DISORDERS
It’s hoped Newcastle will become the first city in Australia, to develop its own strategy for preventing Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders.
Today police, community groups and health professionals met on the subject for the first time.
Every year in Australia, around two per cent of babies have a birth defect caused by alcohol consumption during pregnancy.
