WEATHER: BEST RAIN IN MONTHS
The best looking rain system we’ve seen in months will begin to affect the region from tomorrow.
Storms have been a regular feature across the northern ranges but it has been far more active across southern New South Wales. This week could be the stormiest for the state during December in a decade.
A trough is getting ready to stall over northern New South Wales and eventually form into a cut-off low which is poised to draw south tropical moisture over the next week, possibly 10 days.
This period of rain, on and off, has the potential to cause flooding.
The relief is very much needed though, after the hottest Spring on record for Australia breaking the record that was set only a year ago.
