Scout camps aren’t what they used to be, if a regional gathering near Newcastle over the weekend is anything to go by.
Around 2,000 cubs, scouts, joeys, venturers, rovers and their leaders took part in a host of activities at Glenrock Lagoon.
There were some serious flying foxes, slingshots and bungy jumping on offer.
800 scouts stayed in tents, others were billeted in halls.
