A security guard is recovering after being shot with an air rifle in Lismore overnight,
Just after 11pm police were called to a hotel on Molesworth street, after reports a man had been shot in the arm with a projectile.
Police later arrested a 31-year-old man at a Ballina Road address, where they allegedly seized an air rifle.
He’s been charged with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and has been granted conditional bail to appear in Lismore Local Court tomorrow.
