A 22-year-old man has been discharged from John Hunter Hospital today, after he was stabbed multiple times in Mayfield overnight.
The man was found with non-life threatening injuries on Barton Street at about 9.20.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital for treatment.
Investigations are ongoing.
