After 13 months in a horse drawn cart, Western Australian man Ian Retallack arrived in Tamworth today.
He’s travelling Australia to raise money for cancer, after losing his mum to the disease two years ago, and so far he’s received over $50,000 in donations.
The trip still has another 11,000 kilometres to go, and he has his sights set on a target.
“I’ve always said right from the start I’d love to raise $1,000,000 but if I don’t and I save one child’s life, I’ve done my job.”
Retallack will be in town until next Sunday, when he’ll head off for Goondiwindi.
